We take great care in preparing and packaging every order to ensure it arrives in the best possible condition.​ Orders are shipped via USPS or FedEx using the shipping option selected at checkout. Shipping costs are calculated based on destination, package weight, and selected service level.

For orders containing perishable items, we strongly recommend selecting USPS Priority Mail, FedEx 2-Day, or faster services, especially when shipping during warmer weather or to warmer climates, including but not limited to California, Arizona, New Mexico, Georgia,Texas, Florida, and similar regions.

Warm Weather & Warm Climate Shipping

Higher temperatures, whether due to seasonal weather or shipment to warmer locations can impact the quality of perishable items such as candy and chocolate.

To help reduce exposure to heat during transit, ice packs may be included when appropriate, based on destination, weather conditions, and product type. While we take precautions when packaging perishable items, product condition during transit cannot be guaranteed once an order leaves our facility, as carrier handling and environmental conditions are beyond our control.

Shipping Schedule & Handling Time

Orders containing perishable items may require additional handling time. To reduce the risk of packages sitting in carrier facilities over the weekend, some orders may be held and shipped the following Monday. Shipping and handling times may vary based on order volume, product availability, and seasonality.

Delivery Responsibility

Once an order has been shipped and accepted by the carrier, delivery responsibility transfers to the carrier. Candyapple & Co. is not responsible for delays caused by weather, carrier issues, or incorrect shipping information provided at checkout.
